May 2006 - Lincoln

Today was May 8th, 2006. Spring is here, we had a beautiful day, 70 degrees around lunch and now a thunderstorm is moving through this evening. Below is a picture of a baby cardinal that could barely make it up into the tree limbs. I think that it's only flying for a day or so. This evening I saw the first "June bug" of the season fluttering in the glow of the porch light. I wonder if that means Spring is over and Summer is here?
